How long does a Ethereum payment take?

It counts once it has 6 confirmations on the Ethereum network, which takes about a minute. Your share is forwarded to your wallet within a minute or two after that.

Do I need a Ethereum wallet?

Yes, one you control. You give its address once on your payment settings page and every Ethereum payment is forwarded there. VeliraPay never needs your keys.

Who pays the Ethereum network fee?

Your customer pays the fee for sending their payment. Sending costs whatever the network charges at the time, from cents to a few dollars when it is busy. Passing the payment on to you costs a second, smaller fee, and the exact figure is recorded on every payout.

What if my customer sends too little or too late?

A shortfall within the tolerance you set still counts as paid, and anything bigger can be topped up while the rate is locked or accepted by you from the charge page. A payment that arrives up to 3 hours after the charge expired is still recorded, for you to accept.

Can I try Ethereum payments first?

Yes. Test mode takes payments on the Ethereum test network, so you can go through a whole payment without spending real coins.
