How long does a TRON payment take?

On Tron it counts once it has 19 confirmations, which takes under a minute. Your share is forwarded to your wallet within a minute or two after that.

Do I need a TRON wallet?

Yes, one you control. You give its address once on your payment settings page and every TRON payment is forwarded there. VeliraPay never needs your keys.

Who pays the TRON network fee?

Your customer pays the fee for sending their payment. Every payment goes to a new address, and the network charges the sender about 1.1 TRX to activate it. Passing the payment on to you is usually free, because the network gives every address some free bandwidth. If your payout address has never been used, activating it costs about 1.1 TRX once, which comes out of the platform fee as far as that covers it and otherwise out of the payment. The exact figure is recorded on every payout.

How should a customer send TRON?

As an ordinary transfer from a wallet or an exchange. TRX sent by a smart contract is not detected, so it would not count towards the charge.

What if my customer sends too little or too late?

A shortfall within the tolerance you set still counts as paid, and anything bigger can be topped up while the rate is locked or accepted by you from the charge page. A payment that arrives up to 3 hours after the charge expired is still recorded, for you to accept.

Can I try TRON payments first?

Yes. Test mode takes payments on Tron Nile, so you can go through a whole payment without spending real coins.
